The registered massage therapists at Baden Integrative Health are extremely talented and professional. Registered Massage Therapy involves a wide range of manual techniques applied to the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, fascia) and joints of the body. The therapy is usually pain-free, however there maybe some discomfort during or after the treatment. The therapist’s can alter the pressure they use from light touch to deep tissue at your request. The goals and purpose of Registered Massage Therapy within Baden Integrative Health is to relieve pain, and maintain, rehabilitate and improve the physical function of the body. Research has shown therapeutic massage relaxes muscles, increases circulation, promotes lymphatic flow, improves healing time of strained ligaments and muscular tissues, reduces inflammation in joints, improves range of motion, reduces ones heart rate and assists in increasing endorphins, the body’s natural way of reducing pain.

It is a clinically oriented health option that achieves excellent results when treating the discomforts arising from stress, muscular overuse and many other chronic pain syndromes.

No referral is necessary to be assessed or treated by one of our registered massage therapists, book an appointment today.  We do welcome patients who have been referred by their family doctor or other health care professionals and many insurance companies require a referral.
